Shell wanted to clearly communicate its work‑life balance policy, rights & responsibilities, and business principles to employees.
Rain viewed this as an opportunity to really engage with employees and help engender a feeling of community. Clear, well structured information design combines with personable illustrations by Sarah Naylor to create a friendly tone, without losing the essentially Shell identity.
The reaction at the launch was tremendous. User comments ranged from... "best I've ever seen" and "keeps you wanting to turn the pages..." to "...one of the best things I've seen produced in my time at Shell"
